Virtual Assistance

1. Communication & Availability
  • Clear communication is key. If clients fail to respond or provide necessary information within a reasonable time, this may result in:

    • Delays in completing tasks

    • Unused hours being deprioritised

    • Deletion of stored project materials, including passwords and confidential documents, if no contact is made for 14+ days.

  • Re-setup of access or accounts after such delays may be billable.

2. Confidentiality
  • All client data and information will be treated with the strictest confidence.

  • I may store login credentials temporarily for project use, but these will be deleted after project completion or after prolonged inactivity (see clause 1).

3. Portfolio & Marketing Use
  • I reserve the right to showcase completed work (e.g. website designs, social media visuals, spreadsheets) in my portfolio or for marketing purposes.

  • No personal, confidential, or identifying information will be shared.

  • If you prefer your project not to be included in marketing, please inform me when work begins.

4. Payment Terms
  • All projects and hourly work are payable via invoice or an alternate agreement.

  • Payment is due within 7 days of invoicing unless agreed otherwise.

  • Late payments may delay future work.

5. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Depending on the scope or frequency of tasks, a deposit may be requested before work begins.

  • Invoices are issued at the end of each calendar month for all completed work, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Cancellations are completely fine, but:

    • Please communicate clearly and directly if you wish to pause or stop any ongoing work.

    • Once work has been completed, no refunds are issued, including for deposits or billed hours.

  • Work will not be paused or cancelled unless I receive clear communication to do so or unless I need to cancel (in which case I will notify you as soon as possible).
